How to create a professional looking forum...i luv this forum and want to create a forum with a same look. How much money will be needed..? Please make it descriptive..as i am a newbie..

Get a license on http://www.vbulletin.com/ and get a domain and host.

300$ for first setup and then you have to renew your hosting. It may cost you around 3$ if you choose 256mb vps.

There are few websites available which offers free forum creation (a sub-domain), so you may use them as a free trial and then switch over to paid version. Also prepare a plan to promote your forum.

If I was you I would have a look around and find the best forum software for your needs, join a few admin forums and look around reading the topics about forums. That way you will learn about them before jumping in at the deep end without a clue on what to do, It does not need to cost much.. say $5 per month/$30 annual on hosting and $10 for a domain. You could go with a free option such as mybb or phpbb or invest in XenForo, IPB or (make a mistake) and buy vbulletin

There are tons of ways to create forums it's just about what you want to do with that forum and how much start up money you have for that forum. Black hat forums tend to be very expensive to start while micro niche forums are much easier. Make sure that while planning your forum you decide an effective way to market your forum so that you won't have to pay for people to make postings.
