How many forums are you on?

I'm active on and post advertising on 15 different web master forums, but I'm active on quite a few others as well. I have each bookmarked and maintain an Excel spreadsheet for each. Obviously, I favor some over others - I'd say I have 7 favorites.

I'm a member of thousands of forums across the net. Sometimes when I see a forum I try logging in before registering cuz chances are I'd have an account there already

However, I'm not active on many nowadays

I am on most of the webmaster forums. It is a kind of fun and opportunity to help people and gain more knowledge in return. Webmaster forums are simply great.

I tend not to frequent too many webmaster forums because they get bogged down by the sales sections.

Agreed. They just end up with people constantly spamming their own sites and not actually providing any new, interesting content.

I am a member on at least 30 forums. I am especially fond of the tech oriented forums where you can learn of an eminent iPhone release before the general public even does.

Except Apple are notoriously tight lipped about their new products to the point of sacking staff who discuss it outside work so anything you hear is pure speculation. That and Apple are starting to show their true colours with all the patent disputes they are bringing out in an attempt to hurt Android sales.

If you honestly counted, it'd be over 1,000 forums. But, I'm only active on about two or three.
