Centos 6 or ubuntu??
One of my client bought one dedicated server and plan setup webhosting, As per the OS perspective what I need to suggest to install in the server.
My opinion is Centos 6 but now ubuntu server edition also seems to be good.

Chose centos it is the standard for web hosting nowadays.

Nothing against ubuntu, but we prefer to use CentOs if we talk about hosting.

UBuntu is great for personal computing but for servers and web hosting, I will always say CentOS because it is task specific for hosting.
