What is better Softaculous or Fantastico? And why?

Softaculous because it has more scripts that are more frequently updated

Softaculous is best as compare to Fantastico.

Softaculous having large number of script as compare to Fantastico.Softaculous is good for WHMCS and Magento users as well as hosting provider becasue both scripts are present in Softaculous and easy to install as compare to manual installation.

Fantastico is better for me. The whole packaging and developer support for it is fantastic. The script selection is wide and the scripts are VERY easy to install via Fantastico.

I like Softaculous more too.

Softaculous is one of the auto-filler or installer that allows the users to install many web application easily and quickly. There is wide range of applications that can be installed in Softaculous which includes web portals, e-commerce solutions, forums, blogs, CMS and more. It has simple to use features and also has features for the back-up of applications or installation at any time.

Fantastico is the most popular and one-click script installer and enables the user to install dozens of open source web applications for cPanel server. This installer is also helpful for installing CMS, image galleries, shopping carts, polls and lots more. A newbie can also install it manually who even don't know how to create MySQL database and other complex steps related to installation.

I think Fantastico is better for installing web applications.

Softaculous look modern and easy one-click install scripts more than Fantasico. I installed it on my server and glad to see it works well.

I will suggest Softaculous. Its better than Fantastico because Softaculous has more applications than Fantastico. Softaculous has 200 auto-Installer scripts and the number will increase in future. Whereas Fantastico has comparatively less number of auto-Installer scripts compared to Softaculous.

I never used Softaculous. I only tried Fantastico and i liked it. Most companies support Fantastico. At least its my experience.

Softaculous is better as its powerful, easy to use user-interface gives you the ability to install and upgrade a growing collection of web applications at the click of a button.
