Up.biz is best and oldest hosting company. I m also getting the hosting service from up.biz.
I would say Bluehost and Hostgator.
Softlayer was founded in 1998 but 1991 was the first host ever made which was when the first ever website was made.
my webhoster is set up in 1998, i think that about the time when most hosting compnaies have been set up.
My god do you people even READ topics? He's not asking which hosting company do you think is BEST he's asking which you think is OLDEST. hostgator is far from being the OLDEST host on the net. I believe someone said their provider has been around since 1991? I'd say that's about right...
I can't think of the name, but there are some providers from the early 90's. However, their names are hardly known probably because their prices don't match the norm today.

So is it HostGator or SoftLayer? I'd have said it was GoDaddy, it just seemed like a company with lots of experience at first sight for me.
It is not easy to say the oldest hosting company. Yes, it is easy to say about the best hosting company. According to my opinion the best hosting company is Hostgator. It can provide the nice and cheap hosting service.

You're all talking about hosts 10 years before the first website was ever made, surely there was other hosts made before then![]()
I think WorldCom Canada was the first commercial Internet access provider in 1991.
