Better to opt for a managed service so that you don't have to look into the server side technical issues, you have the hosting companies technical department taking care of the same for you.

If you know about your service, you 'll save your money with unmanaged products.

The question and decision is very dependent on who the web master is. If he or she is unexperienced with optimizing a server, I will always recommend going with a managed server. Let the host set you up and control the settings for you.

I'd say unmanaged if you have knowledge of system administration and managed if you don't.

I always go unmanaged but it's because I have some knowledge in the field and I am not afraid of searching for solutions online if things go wrong. Of course, if you don't want problems, go with unmanaged and make sure that you do not pay for a "fake managed" service!

If you don't like to spend your time in managing your servers then managed server is best, managed hosting is expensive and it's more secure then unmanged hosting.

If you are gifted with some technical knowledge about sever then you can go for unmanaged hosting otherwise if you don't waste your time and also don't want to mess with tricky issue at server end then you should go for managed hosting only.

In managed hosting hosters will set you up and look after your control panel.

However, they are so many companies which offers managed hosting .DHost is one of them.
