Thread: Noticed something with the guidelines

I was surfing the guidelines looking for possible mistakes, and I came across this;

If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.

But, not far below that is

All post must be made in English.

They contradict each other.

Also:

Please refrain from posting spam, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.

and

Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed

Should it just be Advertising and trolling is not allowed? I mean, spamming was covered the first time.

You may want to remove To decrease load time, images have been disabled from Avatars and Signatures. from the Misc rules.

Shouldn't there also be a ' in childrens?

We have not updated the Guidelines in a pretty long time which is on my to-do list. I`ll get this resolved and the guidelines completely re-wrote today or tomorrow.

Ahh, okie dokie.

Let me know when you plan to re-do them, I might have some additional suggestions .
