Thread: Articles Section?

I was just wondering if adding an Article / Tutorial Section is possible? I created forum articles for webmaster/admins and I'd really like to add some of my work here. I also create tutorials, so sharing them with the community would not only help me, but it would also help people wishing to learn.

If there is already a section for this, sorry for the topic.

Just wondering if this has been looked at or discussed?

What kinds of articles are they? You could probably just place them directly in the relevant forums instead of specifically having a forum for articles.

My topics vary, some don't even have a category as they are just an article about forums or blogs overall.

If more users see a need for this section then I`ll add it.

Surely there are more members who write articles? I've seen forums add this section and it turns out great. Articles on running a forum, dealing with staff members etc are always good aswell as tutorials.

I'm sure there are other people who write articles. Having their own dedicated section when the content would probably end up overlapping with other areas, though, seems a little redundant. If you have several that don't fit the current categories, maybe it's worth considering those topic areas being added to the boards, though. Like I don't think there's a section specifically for blogs, but it'd be useful....for both articles and threads with questions, etc, to be added. The same goes for running/managing forums....it could warrant its own sub-forum for those topics instead of an articles sub-forum for all sorts of random topics to be put.
