Thread: Vote for Shoutbox!

This defeats the purpose of a forum, in my opinion. Imagine if let's say 50 members are chatting at the same time, people aren't going to be able to talk freely with other members without their message getting lost in all of the other messages being written.

I say no on this one, it's not that good for forums, and all it does is take away from the activity. If you are firm on adding it, make it for premiums and/or staff

Well, this could easily get abused, but I think it should be for premium users.

I wouldn't mind a shoutbox on a forum. That doesn't ever stop me from posting.

This function is not necessary in my opinion. If you want to chat, use the General Chat forum. Otherwise, post your thread so an entire community can be involved. It leaves support for other users to read about later as well as tracks and documents the conversations more thoroughly. The threads can be searched on, keyword-"ed", etc... whereas a shoutbox is truly just a spam box for conversation (which is unnecessary on WBB).
