Do you have mods pick out specific moderation colors? For example, a moderator edits a post, and uses the color blue to identify it was them.
I've been on forums where this was done, and it seemed useless. Most forums will show last edit by, anyway, and really, no one else can edit other's posts except mods and admins.

I've never done anything of that sort. Like you said, most forum software has the Last Edited By... line added to the post when it's edited, so I see no need.
I'm using blue color for super moderator, add green for forum moderators and set orange bold for VIP/Premium Members. Administrator's Group must on red color.

I've never seen colors used like you mentioned. I do know that on a lot of forums, it's common for a mod/admin to say "edited by" and their name, to let the person know what they did. Usually, we stick with either deleting or leaving it, instead of editing, so with the exception of say, editing out links, it's rarely an issue.
The thing with going with the standard "last edited by" thing is that someone else can come along and edit...including the original poster...and it'll remove the mod's name by default, without even meaning to.

Seems pointless to do this in my opinion, as others said, a lot of forum software these days has history built in.
