    Staff Pages?

    What is your view on people having staff pages? Do you like them? Maybe they're just another dumb page to you?

    I like staff pages. Personally, when I join a forum, I'd like to know who the staff are.

    I find forums that don't have a staff page sometimes and it's quite annoying having to go around and see who's who. Like Arariel has said. When I join a forum, I'd like to know who's who.

    I like it when a site has a page listing their staff. If I join a site and want to contact a staff member right away, I need that site to have one! Having online/offline statuses works too; I want to get a reply asap.

    Perfectly acceptable IMHO. Allows you to get to know the team behind keeping the forums in good nick.

    Staff pages can be very helpful to see who's what on a site. For example, I have quite a bit of staff who do different things on my site and server so I made a custom staff page instead of the default one IPB comes with. You can view my custom staff page here. What do you guys think? Pretty good huh?

    I can see both sides of the fence. So long as the staff is listed somewhere, I'm content, so that means even if it's only on the sub-forums of a forum listing, that's sufficient. I can see profiles from there or contact someone directly if I want to know more.

    I won't complain if they go through the effort of having a staff page dedicated to little snippets about them. I hate when I get there and realize half the staff listed is no longer there, though, because they haven't updated in years.
