Do you ask your staff for their contact info (Emails, messenger emails, etc) in case anything were to come up?
I've done this at least once or twice on previous forums of mine, and I've been staff on a lot of forums that had these threads. They can be useful mainly for the admin if they need to contact said staff member about inactivity, but other than that, I don't see much of a use for them.
Have a problem, or just a general question about WBB? Post in Support, or email me @ seenoevil4@yahoo.com
Well you should already have their email addresses from their registration, but yeah, confirming they actually use that address isn't a bad idea. Often times I will end up friends with other staff and will have their contact eventually anyway. I can't think of many reasons why I would need to contact them outside of the forum where a simple PM wouldn't make it their way in time anyway. Most keep PM email notifications turned on if they're staff.

Yeah, I usually add them on MSN or Skype that way I can always send them a message if I need to.
I hardly ever really email people...
I have most of my mods and my co-admin on Facebook, so we always have another way of talking to each other in case of any mishaps. It's fun to keep in touch with each other outside the forum. That way, they don't have to feel intimidated about the whole mod-admin thing.
I have staff phone numbers & email numbers, it's just good practice imho.
We have a contact topic in the staff area where all staff leave one form of contact whether it's email or IM. Either way I can contact them off the forum if I ever need to. Plus I know where to generally find my staff when they aren't on my forum anyway.
I normally only ask for a email address and MSN email. I normally only use PM's to keep in touch with people though.

I usually try and get at least a secondary email and/or messenger in case they go offline for some weird reason![]()
