Not sure if you guys have heard of them, concrete5. I have tried all the other CMS systems and they just aren't my type. Concrete5 is free too, but its a click and edit program. Tons of addons and themes too.
i love to use joonla, but i am intending to use druple and wordpress also
I am also a fan of Concrete5. I guess it is the best for the work I have to do with it. Wordpress would be my choice to solely build a blog though.
Joomla is mine favorite CMS. I like it very much.
Generally the widely used and liked CMS is Wordpress. This is because its easy to use, user friendly, themes are available in abundance, there are almost 10-12 k plus plugins available and many more features.
As much as I love word press I enjoy using pligg a lot it's been a lot of fun. To bad their support is bad.
I have yet to see one that fits every single need of mine so that is why a custom made one is probably the best option out there. But if I had to choose a couple I recommend, it would be Joomla or Drupal simply because of the developers they have. There are plenty of templates and add ons for these specific scripts.
I am a Wordpess user. If you are a Joomla user and you have used Wordpress before what kind of differences are there between the two. Does one have easier themes to customize than the other, is one's Dashboard easier to navigate than the other's.
Day 2 Day for all your business printing needs
By the way standingoten, how do you go about creating your own CMS? What tools and software do you use to go about creating it?
Day 2 Day for all your business printing needs
Well my favorite is more of a framework then a CMS. I love IP.Content. It gets exactly what I want done, done in an efficient, web 2.0-like manner and seamlessly integrates into my forum. IP.Content is a paid add-on for IP.Board and it's not as cheap as I'd like it to be but it's certainly not overly expensive. I believe it's roughly $50 if memory serves correctly.
