How often do you backup your site?

How often do you backup? What do you use for backups?

I'm currently using the backup system provided by my host, they utilize in R1Soft and it looks good to use but heard its a pain to configure and such. I also backup to my PC on a weekly basis just to be sure and move it on to a USB drive.

I dont trust R1 soft, there are TONS of horror stories on WHT about it failing. I have the following on K-Disk

    1) Database Dumps are emailed to a secured inbox (2 factor authentication required)
    2) I do weekly full cPanel backups SCPed to a hard disk on my Alarm Clock (Turns it to a mini NAS)
    3) I manually do a backup whenever I make a change (both before and after)

What do you suggest for backups? I currently do not backup YIPFolio to another server, but I have it saved on my shared drive. Currently I don't have databases or anything like that setup, but in the future I might. What do you suggest?

InnovatedWeb is backed up via R1Soft and an occasional full cPanel backup. Full backup made before changes just in case.

Client servers backed up to R1Soft only, however with the impending platform change will also be doing a full ftp backup daily as well as r1soft every 4 hours

Interesting. I think I'll need backup in the future.

Our entire server is backup up daily offsite, that we are protected from any problems the host has.
Clonebox can launch the back up coy of the server at a moments notice.

I snapshot my desktop four times daily. We may add hourly or so backups to Clonebox. Right now it creates a bootable image of your server once daily.

We use R1Soft for offsite backups for clients, but my personal sites I backup and download to my pc once every week or when I make changes.
