I think almost all hosting company give customer security by giving data back-up facilities.

All big company's are safe to use, avoid some unknown small sites which offers hosting for very small prices

It's you who have to be secured after all, don't share passwords, or download viruses, I got atleast 5 of my sites hacked as they were on a poor server, but it was my fault as well, because i didn't looked to them for a while, got them back but .... they lost rank, then took too long to get it all back.

All big hosting companies are safe to use, However be carefully if the host is legit.

Most sites are hacked due to insecure scripts client wise.
