    proper htaccess

I have uploaded an htaccess in my main site and it over writes the old I can't remember whats on it. So I'd like to create another one to upload, what should be the proper htaccess with security in mind?

Security? This really depends on what your site needs and what you want.

What are you hoping to gain by adding security through the .htaccess file?
