Which one has a better value .us or .com?

I couldn't say with certainty, but I'd have to estimate .com, as it's most common.

.com is the best to get. Well it depends on the actual name.

If your choosing between for example site.com and site.us then go with site.com

but if there are 2 different names then it depends on which one you like. But in general .us is not bad.

Yeah, I don't think .us is necessarily bad, but I do believe .com has more value.

I would say .com definitely has more value, as it has been around for longer and is more popular. It is what most get these days, as it is cheap, but effective.

however, it totaly depends on the real name of your site which more suits your site .com or .us .

If you are targeting us people of course go for .us, otherwise go for .com

Another reason to go with the us domain is, if the name makes sense with a .us extension.
For example, an anti corruption campaign website name "youcantcorrupt.us" / a social networking website name, "youme.us" etc will look good. I will choose .us in these cases!

Websites created with .us domains given more preference in google, when searching from U.S. countries. so, .us domain will give you more traffic when searched from U.S., than the .com domain.Also, with .com domain, from webmaster tool, you can target most probably all countries. But with .us domain, from web master tool you will only be able to target U.S.country.
